a little about where i come from…
My teenage years were spent as a keen Event Horse Competitor, where I competed at a professional level. I spent considerable time as an exercise jockey and show-jumper, and have also worked through all disciplines in the equestrian world.
After studying psychology at Edinburgh University, I went into the food business and worked as a head chef whilst studying to become a personal trainer.
I have worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, nutritionist and massage therapist for the past seven years whilst also keeping my hand in the oven and running a catering operation as a side interest.
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing.
- Seeing the potential in the person in front of me.
- Seeing someone who has struggled being overweight obtain the body they never thought they could, and maintain it.
- Seeing someone resigned to eternal back pain moving without a twinge.
- Seeing an unconfident and self conscious person gain a sense of security and self respect.
- Seeing a depressed and tired individual gain energy and life.
- Seeing that persons life rocket forward as a result.
